The Junkluggers of Greater Boston is honored to partner with a network of charities in our community to serve our number one goal- to keep useful items out of landfills.

Our mission is to enhance lives, our communities, and the environment by donating, repurposing, recycling, and supporting local charities. Not only are your items going to a great cause, but you are also benefiting in the form of a tax-deductible receipt for items we are able to donate on your behalf. We Partner With a Network of Local Charities:

Boomerangs

Boomerangs is a family of thrift stores focused on a powerful mission: providing CRITICAL funding to AIDS Action in partnership with Fenway Health. Boomerangs works tirelessly to enhance the wellbeing of our LGBTQ community and advocate for the thousands of Massachusetts residents living with HIV/AIDS.

Boston Building Resources

Boston Building Resources focuses on affordable solutions to help our local neighbors and community. They strive to educate and inspire homeowners to increase energy efficiency- and provide connections for locals to reuse materials and reduce their environmental footprint.

Goodwill Industries

We partner with local Goodwills to help members of our community overcome challenges and find jobs.

Habitat for Humanity ReStore

We partner with independently owned reuse stores operated by Habitat for Humanity. These stores accept donations to sell items back to the community at a discounted price.

More Than Words

More Than Words holds a special place in our hearts, as this nonprofit social enterprise was founded in Greater Boston. More Than Words is a job training and youth development program that inspires and empowers hundreds of young people in the Boston Area.

Savers

Savers makes an impact in our local community, inspired by decades spent salvaging opportunities. Savers does good both locally and globally, with a focus on "meaningful change with maximum impact."

The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army assesses the needs of the public in Greater Boston, and invests back into our beloved community. They build programs designed to offer relief and spearhead both short and long-term growth initiatives.
